Rituals
In February 2020 this mini installation arrives at Mawson station, Antarctica, for people on the ice to display and to contribute their own stories to, as part of existing rituals to celebrate winter solstice.
Designed by Paul Fletcher and Lisa Roberts, its shape was inspired by a sea urchin skeleton and a traditional Aboriginal Australian meeting house made of wood or whale bones.
