Poem:
While the lengthening sun stills a growing Earth...
spouts glide away from the warmth...
Toward from where the mutton birds come...
And from where we sense life on the wind...
Plying crests in orange steel to know the Earth...
science heaves to see a life's length...
For'ard beneath the austral ice and ocean...
Then into tomes of views from before the wind.
Whether view or sense or use connects us south...
beyond the mortal ...
